With the feature: "Representation of Article Lists" it is possible to configure the sorting of articles in the running list and on invoices as well as the accumulation of articles in the running list, invoices and receipts. This makes it now possible to add optional articles easier to ordered articles.
The display of article lists can be activated and configured in the cloud. No additional modules are required to use the sorting and accumulation of articles.
Important! As of App Version 2.15, the standard behavior of displaying articles on the checkout screen has been newly implemented. This new feature is described in the section on accumulation of articles.
The feature "Representation of Article Lists" can be activated in the GASTROFIX Cloud under the menu item "Setup" --> "Operations" --> "Features". To do this, the checkbox of the feature must be activated and saved.
After the feature has been activated, the configuration can be done under "Setup" --> "Restaurant" --> "Settings" under the category "Representation of Article Lists":
The accumulation of articles can be set on the check-out, invoice and receipt. Sorting of articles on invoices and the movement list.
The following options are available for sorting:
- By Article Name (ascending)
- According to Order Sequence
- By Price (ascending)
- To PLU (ascending)
The default sorting for invoices and the checkout is by order, even if the feature is disabled. After the desired settings have been made, they can be accepted by clicking on the "Save" button. To transfer the changes to the POS-System, the master data must be loaded in the admin area of the app.
The configuration settings for summation of articles (A) and sorting articles (B) are described in more detail below.
A: Summation of Articles
As of app version 2.15 it is possible to deactivate the summation of articles on the gear list and invoice. In addition, the behavior when summing articles has been modified to make it easier to add optional articles.
While ordering, the same item is not added up directly to allow the addition of an optional item. If no optional articles are added in this step and the same article is ordered more than once, a summation is made on the first article item. This means that the order overview remains very compact, but makes it possible to handle optional items better. By default, the summation of articles is active.
The articles are displayed on invoices and vouchers as usual.
If accumulation is deactivated, a reordered article is displayed separately on the check-out (see Fig. 2). Optional items can be added to items at any time.

B: Sorting of Articles (checkout and/or invoices)
The following sorting options are available for articles on the gait list or invoices:
- By Name
- By Order
- By Price
- By PLU
The sorting does not currently consider any optional or mandatory articles. These are displayed under the corresponding article in order sequence.
To customize the sorting, you need to configure the appropriate settings in the cloud.
