Under the tab "Master Data" you have the possibility to maintain all your business data. No matter if you only want to adjust names or prices, change your menu, change order forms or add a new employee. You maintain and edit all data here. In order to make easy for you to enter data, we have used a uniform input tool.
Tip: To make it easy for you to get started, we recommend that you start with the product groups in order to in a structured way.
The purpose of the input tool is to simplify the extension or modification of articles, article groups or other data of your POS system. We have used this kind of data processing all over our cloud and so you should familiarize yourself with the work of this tool.
You can make changes directly to the cell, similar to Excel, and navigate through the table using the tab and arrow keys. Changes do not have to be accepted by pressing a separate button, but are automatically transferred to a new cell by clicking or navigating. Below you will find an overview:
Here you can determine how many articles you want to see per page. In a drop-down menu, you can select the number of items yourself.
If you have many articles and a small number of displayed articles, you have the possibility to call up further pages with your articles here.
In the first (dark grey) line you will find the name of the individual columns and we have added a search function for the data with which you can search for specific word combinations in your data. (e. g. steak, wine, etc.) Here it is possible to search in each column for all articles of a group, article types or price groups.
The box on the left-hand side of the page allows you to select several items at the same time.
The last line is intended for entering new data as quickly as possible. Here you can directly create new articles without much effort. In this line, the PLU number is automatically assigned with the next free one or you can enter the number first yourself. You will receive an error message if the PLU number is already in use. If you do not want to assign PLU numbers yourself, leave the PLU field blank, as the PLU is automatically assigned after all data has been entered.
At the end of each line you will find the action button for further processing. We will discuss these actions in more detail in the individual sub-categories.
To be able to select the "pull-down menu", you must first select the desired articles using the boxes. In the individual sub-categories, we will discuss this point in more detail.
