Similar to the article groups, the creation, modification or addition of articles in the GASTROFIX Cloud is also simple. To create a new article go to Master Data --> Article and click on Add New.
Here too, we would like to explain the structure:
On the button "Download XLS" you can download your articles (incl. article groups and constraints) as an Excel list.
With the button "New Entry" you can create a new article.
The box in the first line and in front of each item allows you to select multiple items to display the items listed in .
The PLU number can be assigned manually by you, if you leave this field empty when entering it, the cloud will automatically distribute the number in ascending order.
Under the tab "Articles and Articles (short name)" enter the respective long and short description of the articles.
- The long description is the text printed on the invoice for the guest.
- The short name is the description of the items shown on the iPad in the app on the buttons. Space is limited to 20 characters.
In this column, assign the created article to the respective group (e. g. AfG, beers, lettuce, starters, etc.).
Define which article type the new article should have and which characteristics it must have. For more information on the individual article types, see Article Types.
Here you define the sales price for the article.
With the action buttons you have different possibilities in the quick selection. An explanation of the individual buttons can be found in the following article. Action Buttons
The pull-down menu allows you to edit several articles at the same time.
