If you click on "Master Data" --> "Article" --> "Edit", you will find the"Constrains" tab. The "Constrains" controls the additional articles that are attached to an article and linked to it.
In the following example, the main article "Schweppes Tonic Water" is illustrated by an article "Schweppes Ginger Ale".
"Delete original PLU" means that the original item that triggers the order is deleted and replaced by the first item in the query.
For example: You have burgers in three different sizes, where the price is determined by size. First article cheeseburger - first query for size. The article "Cheeseburger" is deleted and the article "Cheeseburger 250g" is written on the receipt.
"Create New Position" is selected if you want to make a separate item for each item that is queried in the input constraints.
For example: Steak always need the optional information on cooking stage, side dish and sauce. They are all grouped together as an article that can only be cancelled together. If "New Article" is selected in this example, the steak, the cooking stage, the side dish and the sauce are displayed as individual positions.
Here you can add another constrain
With this option, you determine whether several items may be selected during the query. For example: Various supplements that cost extra and can be selected several times.
Here you can specify whether the input should be a "Optional Constrain". This means that you can define whether the query is to be requested as a "Required" (e. g. cooking stage with steak) or whether it can also be skipped (e. g. with herb butter with steak, because the customer does not want herb butter)
In this field you have the possibility to search for your desired articles and add them as a constraint
Important: The articles must already be created in order to be able to connect them here
Here you can see the articles you have added to the step in the line above.
With the button (-) you can remove the chosen article.
Here you can add more constrains for the article.
With the button "Save" you can save the entered constraints.
