In the "Hardware" section, you can set up information about your equipment, printers and the billing layout of your restaurant.
With the button +Register Device you can call up a QR code, which you can scan with the GASTROFIX-App to integrate new devices.
Under Type you can find out whether the device is an iPad, iPod or iPhone.
The device names help you to distinguish between the individual cash registers. We recommend that you write "Master" in the name of the master device.
"Predefined Active Employee" specifies which employee is automatically logged on when the cash register is started/restarted. This employee can immediately make bookings and transactions without entering a PIN.
Important: For security reasons, we recommend that you store the employee "Please Log In", so that the next employee must first log in before making a booking.
Under "Cost Center", you can assign the device to a specific cost center.
If you are working in "Check-Out Table" (exclusively for sale), the table is defined here.
The IP-Address of the master must be static and must not be changed. Here you can check if all your registered devices are in the same IP range.
The App Version is displayed for each device and must be identical. Devices with different App versions cannot work together
The last tab contains the following icons/options:
The star symbol identifies the master/master device
/ This symbol indicates the status between (active and inactive)
By clicking on the editing icon, you can make important device settings
This allows you to delete the device from its operation
