Important: With version 2.18 the expected standard behavior will be an automatic restore of the previous connected account. Therefore, the app will automatically connect to your cloud - no hands-on tinkering needed. If you are connecting a new iOS device please follow the steps outlined below.
Important: The master devices has to be registered first! This is also true after each app update.
After opening the GASTROFIX-App for the first time you will be presented with the following screen:
Select "Connect Device" to connect the POS-System to your restaurant manager. In the following registration screen you have two options for registering the app.
To connect your device via Q-Code, you must first generate a QR-Code in your restaurant manager (cloud. gastrofix.com). To do this, go to "Setup" --> "Hardware" and click on "Register Device". You can now scan the QR-Code with the camera of your device (iPad / iPod).
Registration with Login Information
Here you enter the login information, which you have received by e-mail in advance.
Important: Always register the master device first!
Select the settings in the device data mask and press "Finish".
Important: If you are working in checkout mode / sales, select this function before finishing.
